Arusha City is the starting point for your coming days on the road. Leaving the busy city, passing locals going about their day as you venture into more remote village territory. Over the countryside the brightly coloured Maasai can be seen herding their cattle. In the coming days of your journey you will cover many kilometres and vastly varying terrains.
There is no shortage of wildlife on your safari adventure and you are in safe hands with our aptly experienced, highly knowledgeable driver guide.
When your African road trip comes to an end and you board the plane on your way back to Arusha, you can peer out over the wings of the plane and see the Serengeti from a different angle. The perfect time to reflect on some of what will be sure to be your greatest memories in life.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Arusha is the safari capital of the country and a bustling ‘tourism driven’ city. You will be met by your driver-guide guide in Arusha and together you will begin the transfer to Tarangire National Park to start your private safari game drive. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River, which crosses the park and is the main source of fresh water for the abundant wildlife. This quiet park is famous for its elephant migration, birdlife and authentic safari atmosphere. You will enjoy a packed lunch at midday and at the end of the afternoon’s game drive, you will make your way to Africa Safari Lake Manyara. On arrival, you will have time to refresh before finishing the day with dinner under the stars and a good night’s sleep in one of our comfy canvas accommodations.
Day 2: Lake Manyara Area to Serengeti National Park
Today you have a long and rewarding drive ahead of you, as you make your way from Lake Manyara region, through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and into Serengeti National Park. The road will take you through the Maasai homeland, the only tribespeople permitted to live in the Conservation area. Traditionally nomadic, the Maasai people are rich in culture and can often be seen herding their cattle in brightly coloured traditional Maasai robes. They live in complete harmony with the earth, using their long-ingrained family knowledge of plant life as a means for survival. Along the drive, you will be able to spot giraffes, zebras and other animals. Prepare to be amazed when you catch your first glimpse of the endless plains of the Serengeti. When you arrive in our Africa Safari Serengeti Ikoma lodge, you will have already had your first taste of game driving and the 14,000+ square kilometres that make up the wonder that is Serengeti National Park.
Day 3: Safari transfer to Seronera Airstrip – domestic flight back to Arusha Airport
After a good night’s sleep, it is departure time. The last game drive and your vehicle will be taking you to the Seronera airstrip for your flight back to Arusha Airport. After boarding the aircraft, your trip nears the end, but you can still peer out over the wings of the plane and enjoy the magnificent views while flying over Serengeti National Park and admire the changing scenery of the Great Rift Valley. You will land at Arusha Airport with a camera full of pictures to share with friends and family and look back on the amazing memories created on your African endeavour!

Frequently Asked Questions
When and where does the tour Start?
The tours are scheduled to depart on Daily basis. However, circumstances like clients’ arrival time, activities to be done and clients preference could affect the program. Our company is flexible for such arrangements and adjustments. Normally the program starts around 8:00 AM.
When and where does the tour End?
The tour depends with the itinerary. We end all our safaris at the airport or at the Hotels either in Arusha or Moshi town where our clients may have wished for their drop-off. However, our travel specialists will need to know your specific drop-off point prior to the safari to get aligned with the program
Do you arrange airport Transfer?
Yes of course, We arrange airport transfers for our clients at an extra cost of $50 per vehicle. Normally, the drafted itineraries have excluded the transfers before and after safari. We however advise you to give prior information to our travel specialists before boarding your flight to Tanzania.
Do you arrange accommodation after safari?
Yes of course, We arrange for accommodation when requested by our clients at an extra cost depending with the accommodation level they will prefer to stay in. Normally, the drafted itineraries have excluded the accommodations after safari. For any accommodation bookings, remember to give us prior information of the comfort level you would prefer and we shall advice which hotels will suit you best before we get all confirmations on program.

Kili Africa Tours rules
Everything was excellent with our Climbing Kilimanjaro trip thanks to Kili Africa Tours agency, especially thanks to my two Summit guides that supported me on the last night trying to get to the Roof of Africa. Without them I would not have got to the top. I will always remember Abuu words “it’s too soon to quit” and Enock’s and Abuu’s help. They kept me safe all the way up. Excellent hiking experience with Kili team
Kili Africa Tours was recommended to me by a good friend , back in December last year. Kilimanjaro, the roof of Africa, was always in my plans, but never closed to reality..
Doing some early planning and cash advance for early booking of hotels and some basic stuff was done by Seif in a transparent and very professional manner.
So there I was on a very early morning on JRO international airport meeting the guy in lead and part of his great team.
Next we were introduced to the guides meant to show us unbelievable beautiful trails in a incredible landscape , making this mountain unique in the world . Besides the guides was a really professional cook. Porters were very friendly. However be ready for extra tips because of national park regulations many more are hired. For 7 tourists they allocated 28 porters.
Expedition itself took 8 days , ascension started on Machame route from Machame Gate to Machame camp crossing a deep and misty jungle. Next days we d into moon desert like landscape at around 4000 m for a good acclimatization.Mountain hardware tents made cool nights to be felt warmly. A mobile shower and toilettes units made our life much easier than expected :)
For summit we waked up around midnight and started hiking around 1300 m ascent trail. There were strong winds blowing with about 60 70kmph from time to time, resulting in a real feel around -15C.
As all of us reached the summit, some of us with a generous help from our guides, we descended happily to Milenium camp following Mweka route.
All in all was a very pleasant and and unique experience offered by the Kili Africa Tours which I gladly recommend to all who want to climb Kilimanjaro.

Wonderful and unforgettable experience!
I had an amazing experience. Both the Kilimanjaro climb and the 5-day safari have been great successes! Thanks to Rama, my wonderful guide for Kilimanjaro and his encouragements along the way, I managed to reach the top, although I was on the point of giving up several times due to the low oxygen concentration in the air, especially after 4800-5000 m.
Onest, my safari guide made me have the time of my life diring the 5 day safari în Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngoro-Ngoro and Lake Manyara. His great experience and expertise în all aspects of animal life made me gain a lot of insight into this great part of Zanzibar nature.

Climbing Kilimanjaro with Kiki Africa tours was the best experience I’ve ever had. The staff was amazing and very friendly. They helped us in every way and they were super careful!!! The trip was very professionally managed. The guides, porters and ALL staff were so very supportive and kind to our team. They went out of their way to make us feel motivated, secure, informed, well fed and even entertained during our trek. The entire crew came out to sing and cheer for us when they knew our team was struggling with various members being I'll and when the trek got challenging. It really felt like they were as invested in our efforts to Summitt as we were! The chef prepared amazing food all the way up and down the mountain... even a vegan diet for one team member. It was truly a remarkable experience with these people and I will forever respect and honour their efforts 🙏🏼
