The Umbwe route is a short, steep and direct route. It is considered to be very difficult and it is the most challenging way up Mount Kilimanjaro. Due to the quick ascent, Umbwe does not provide the necessary stages for altitude acclimatization.

Known as the “Coca-Cola” route, the Marangu route is a classic trek on Mount Kilimanjaro It is the oldest, most well-established route. Many favour the Marangu route because it is considered to be the easiest path on the mountain

The Machame route is also known as the Whiskey route, given its reputation for being a tough climb, in contrast to the easier Marangu route, which is known as the Coca Cola route.

Rongai is stated to be one of the most beautiful routes that start from the Northern side, in comparison to others this is the easiest route and its popularity has been increasing tremendously over the years.
